Senator Sachs met with delegates from Palm Beach County League of Cities, an organization of local elected officials. Boca Raton Mayor Susan Haynie & City Councilwoman Constance Scott were among the delegates who traveled to Tallahassee last week to discuss their priorities and concerns for the legislative session. The League is advocating to safeguard city authority by preserving home rule power concerning vacation rentals and pushing for sober home reform. Senator Sachs expressed her support stating, “The League of Cities represents a partnership of many municipalities in Palm Beach.  The have played a vital role in creating a good bill concerning sober home reform.
